If you are looking for a casual American restaurant, this is one of the best on the island they have weekday specials. We had the wings on special and the Cajun burger. Both were very good! I would come back here again. Our server was also very friendly!

We've been here many times over the years and always found it to have great service, very good food and a nice comfort level. This trip was for Wings Night at the tail of Happy Hour. Our server was helpful and quick. Wings were perfect. Prices were more than fair. This is a must-stop on Pensacola Beach for fish sandwiches, shrimp and anything else you want. On a recent trip to Pensacola Beach we came here after I did a Yelp search for Hamburgers. I asked the bartender where we were drinking at the time for her opinion and she said it was the best place to get a burger on the island, BUT, since it was Thursday, it was "Wing Night" and there would be a big crowd. She was right on both accounts, the burger was great and the wait was long, but it was worth it! Pro Tip: Don't be scared by the long wait. Get your name on the list and with your buzzer in hand take a walk around the neighborhood, either to the beach or to some of the cute shops just across the highway. Once we got a table, 45 minutes later, we ordered a dozen Hot Wings to start (45 cents each on Thursday!). They were GREAT, I'd go back for more even at full price! Then we split a cheese burger which was perfectly cooked! (and since it was my birthday) I got a slice of Key Lime Pie, which was divine! Oh yeah, if ya wanna watch a game, it is probably on here. They had more than a dozen different sports channels on, I didn't know they had that many sports channels...shows ya what I know.

They're advertised as the best hot wings on the gulf. That's a high praise dont cha think?!?! I ordered hot. I usually get lemon pepper sprinkled on top, but they didn't have that ingredient. So regular hot wings they were! I must admit the wings were a nice size and the hot sauce hit me when she set the plate down. They were good and actually hot, not that wimpy almost hot crap. I've had better though, so if they're the best, I'll say stick to seafood if you're going to Pensacola Beach.

I got the ribs here one night and they were good. The wings and burgers look good. Lots of tvs at the bar. Cold beer with nice selection. Don't get the fried shrimp dinner unless you like popcorn shrimp.

Chris & Carrie at the bar offer up exceptional service..this bar makes a big deal about the award winning wings, great tasting sauces but the wing size is pathetic super small pigeon wings absolutely nothing to be proud about, and what real wing place denies all drums or all flappers.."our cooks don't do that, you get what you get" Chili is thick but really good..they have a bottles hot sauce similar to Tobasco, but 1000x better, ask for chopped onions. Fish Nuggets...great breading/fish proportion... Overall I liked the laid back atmosphere, I liked the bucket beer prices as well... I had this place rated at 3 stars because of the poor wings, but bar service kicked it to 4..

Sunday 9/13 my husband and me decided to have lunch at Sidelines before going to the beach. Got there about 12:30 and it was busy. There was a man at the counter who asked us how many...so we told him 2. Then he proceeded to tell us that since they were busy there was a good chance that they would be seating strangers with us since it was so busy and there were only 2 of us. My husband told the man we did not really want to have strangers seated with us. The man said it was policy and so my husband pointed out there were other couples sitting at tables and asked why some of the strangers waiting weren't being seated with them...so then the fellow said "ok, you won't have strangers seated with you" and handed us a pager. We went outside to wait. They said the wait was about 10 -15 minutes. An hour later after everyone outside (including 4 or 5 couples got there after we did) were all seated inside (at their own tables) we were still waiting. At this point we realized they were not planning on seating us so I took the pager back and we walked over to Flounders where we were seated immediately and were treated great. They actually wanted our us for customers. I have eaten at Sidelines in the past (I am from Pensacola) and was really surprised at the treatment we received. We will not go back.

Surprisingly good! We stopped in for lunch because it was within walking distance of our hotel. Kids got hamburgers and fries, and ate every bite. They were happy that Oreos were included. Hubby and I got the chicken tenders sandwich. He got hot sauce and liked it. I got mild and wished I got hot. But it was still good. Would definitely eat here again next time we're in Pensacola Beach. Service was the only downside. Our waitress didn't seem happy at all and was a little slow.

We like this place. Have been four times already to watch basketball games on TV. They will change a channel to make sure you watch your game. Bartenders and waitstaff are great; they really do a fantastic job. Food is better than average. Prices are reasonable. We'll be back before we head north for spring.

i get it. this is a tourist beach, but still.. the rave reviews are unfounded. this place is decent, but i was certainly expecting more after checking yelp. it's just a sports bar. there are several in your town, and i'm sure you've all seen better. i'm not here to tell anyone that this place sucks. it truly average. decent food (for a sports bar), decent beer selection (for a sports bar), and the ambiance is decent (for a sports bar). not very modern, but it seems clean enough, and they have some TVs. no beach views, but the location is convenient (there's a mini golf place right next door, if you're need a break from beaching all day), and the prices are reasonable. we had fried oysters, garlic butter wings, steak & shrimp, and some smoked tuna... no complaints, and no recommendations. again, this place is not terrible, but i wanted to be the voice of reality among all of the gushing reviews. i think people work up a serious appetite after a long day at the beach, and by the time they reach sidelines, they'd be grateful for a hot, buttered boot. there are several other restaurants nearby.

I visited around 3:30 PM, so not busy at all. This place definitely has a bar feel to it, as opposed to a restaurant with a bar. That's not a bad thing, just don't expect an Applebee's. Happy hour is 3-6 M-F, nice to get Guiness or Bass for $4/ Pint. I lucked into wing night Thursday (which actually starts at 11 AM) so the wings were half price. I ordered the "Hot" which was just right. Spicy, but not lip-numbing nuclear. The wings were good sized, with a fair amount if meat in them. Not the best I've had, but pretty good. Service was friendly. Tons of TVs so they got the sports part covered. Nice patio with 4 TVs. As far as sports bars go, this is a keeper.

We took a trip to Gulf Breeze and we ate seafood quite a lot. We got tired of the seafood joints around there so we stumbled upon Sidelines and thank goodness we did!! THESE ARE THE BEST WINGS IN THE AREA HANDS DOWN!!!! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was awesome! There are tons of TVs to watch and there is an outdoor patio, indoor dining and a bar inside. Sidelines is the greatest place I have eaten in this area you should really try it!

Had dinner here and was extremely disappointed! There were plenty of TVs so that was good, but the tuna dip appetizer was mayonnaise"y" and lacking flavor. The wings were dried out and just okay. My husband had the fried shrimp and although the flavor was good, the shrimp were very small. Our waitress was the best part of the evening. She took the Tuna app off the bill and let us know the fried shrimp were small before we ordered. All in all, we won't go back.

I should not visit the Gulf coast and crave beef , but a good hamburger is what I wanted. I have eaten at Sidelines before and have not been disappointed. I was not disappointed today. I ordered a Swiss and mushroom hamburger cooked medium. It was cooked perfectly. There was a generous portion of juicy and flavorful meat. I opted for the sweet potato fries which were good but nothing special. My friend ordered a Reuben sandwich with cole slaw. The slaw was good. I've had the potato salad it is very good. He said the sandwich was good, but again nothing special. This is a great spot for sports fans and non-fanatics alike. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We'll be back.
